How To Find The Answer To All of Life's Questions

What is the purpose of life?
What happens when we die?
What is love?
What does it mean to be successful?
Do I really have to be married to be happy?
Is my purpose as a woman to have children?
Is it wrong to fall in love with the same sex?
Is Karma real?

Life would make more sense if there were definitive answers to every question. The concept of 'Truth' is subjective simply because everything we know about life is made up. How so? Think about the fact that at the beginning of time, before we had this modern society, language was created to help organize and build so that we could relate to each other.

We all had to sit down and agree that certain things would be called by certain names; this is a TABLE. We all had to agree that a TABLE would be used in a certain way; this table is for eating meals.

Do you see what I am saying? Most of what you believe to be TRUTH is only TRUE because people thousands of years ago decided to establish it as a truth. Most of the expectations you have for your life were set by a bunch ancient dead guys too, yet you cower in disappointment when your life doesn't match up with the timeline they invented to give people purpose and establish order.

If this all sounds like hogwash, it's okay. It's likely you are seeking some sort of direction in life and I'm here to help. There are 3 distinct ways to find every answer to every question about life. You can choose which method of guidance you take and have fun with the answers you receive. Here's how.

1. Ask your friends and family

You can ask your friends and family for those all important questions about life that you've been pondering. I'm sure your big brother, in all of his infinite wisdom, knows the real truth. Or maybe your mother can direct you. If you choose this direction for guidance you are demonstrating that you believe with age comes wisdom, which may be true. People you seek out for wisdom and guidance will be flattered by your obedience to their opinions, yet, they won't really respect you.

The downside to seeking answers to life's questions from friends and family is the fact that you become a puppet to their opinions and influence. Every person is guided by their own set of preferences which you do not have to adopt in order to achieve your own version of success.

2. Turn To Religion
Religion has been a vibrant guiding force for centuries. You can find many of the answers to life's questions when you seek the guide book from any religion you choose or were introduced to. With absolute faith in them, they do provide a certain level of peace of mind and comfort.

The downside to seeking answer's to life's questions from religion is the fact that many religions were created by men who simply made up answers so that those with less brain power had to figure it out. You could go with those answers created to pacify your quest for an infinite truth but you're really just swallowing the fairy tales made up centuries ago.

3. Create Your Own Answers

This one is the most difficult of the three options. It means you have to think for yourself and actually own up to the decisions you make about the answers to life. This is a beautiful choice because you never have to accept the beliefs of others if they don't appeal or make sense to you. Most people won't choose this option because they don't trust themselves enough to create the rules for their own lives and that's okay.

The downside to creating your own answers to life's questions is the fact that everyone will think you are crazy. People will create prayer circles for you, hold interventions and even alienate you socially if you dare to think for yourself. Most people are so comfortable with their inherited beliefs that challenging these so called TRUTHS or watching you do it will shatter their belief that they are living life correctly and that's all people really want to do; we want to get life RIGHT.

So there you have it; 3 sure fire ways to find the answers to all of life's questions. Let me know which one you choose and how it works out for you.

How To Pray

Believe it or not…

OUR THOUGHTS ARE OUR PRAYERS

Have you ever been thinking about a person and then you hear from them immediately afterwards?
Have you ever had your worst fear come to fruition?
Have you ever taken the time to imagine a scenario and then shortly thereafter the situation occurred just as you thought it would?

Although you may brush these incidences off as pure coincidence, I believe that your thoughts were actually energetic prayers that pulled these situations into existence.

The things we meditate on often materialize in our lives through our perception of events and circumstances. This is seen most often when a person has an emotional expectation of an outcome of a situation and then later realizes that their expectations were true. Your expectations for your lives will ALWAYS be true simply because…

Our thoughts are our prayers.
Our thoughts mirror our expectations for our lives.
Our expectations transform our perception of the events and circumstances we face thereby affecting our reactions and interactions when dealing with the event or circumstance.

When we choose to focus our thoughts on a specific situation or outcome with intense
emotion, we are praying for those thoughts to come true. Ask and you shall receive, says
the Bible. If you believe in the Bible then you should understand that we ask for things by
focusing our attention on them and meditating on them.

But what if it’s a bad thought? I don’t really want those to come true, but they do anyway.

How can I stop it?

How To Pray

When you find yourself becoming sucked in by the negative energy of a fear or negative expected outcome, change your internal conversation. Learn how to make your prayers really work for you. You can do so by:

1) Create a trigger word that immediately shifts your thought process- For example, whenever I found myself offering prayers that were not beneficial to me I would immediately say aloud STOP. This became so commonplace that people thought Iwas weird, which I am, but I’d rather be considered weird then to send out those powerful prayers of doom.

2) Spend time praying your pleasure- There is a beautiful scenario in your mind that
you have never before dared to meditate on. For some reason you don’t believe
you deserve it and you’ve actually talked yourself out of wanting this thing to
happen. You now have my permission to fantasize about this dream of yours.
Fantasize. Dive into it. Wallow in it. Have as much fun as you want. Be playful
with it.

3) Change your conversations- My friends and I used to have these marathon
complaining sessions where we competed to see who was being treated the worst
and whose life was more hopeless. It seemed taboo to discuss anything good. In
fact, when we had good news to share, we usually shared at the END of the
conversation while all the drama was shared first. Subconsciously, I believe that
this led to us re working our perception of events and conversations, just so we
could have something to add to the Doom Fest. Talk about what you want to
happen instead of what you don’t want. You may have to change your friends or
your friends may be receptive enough to grasp what you are learning and join in
the fun of positive prayers and conversations.

4) Turn on the light- Even in the midst of a sticky situation it may seem like a good
idea to sit in the dark, light candles and cry your eyes out, begging God to rescue
you from your current ordeal. Instead, turn on the light, think about what you
would like to happen for 2 minutes and then let go of your negative expectation.
Promise yourself that as long as there is light in the world, your prayers will
reflect that.

Your thoughts are your most effective prayers. Learn how to pray your best life and rejoice as every delightful prayer is answered.

A Spiritual Correction

Do you believe in the divine nature of life?

Do you believe that you are being guided toward your best life by a force much more powerful than yourself?

If so then it may be wise to view your life's losses as much more than tragedies.

Say you were walking down the street toward a specific destination. You were following the instructions you received from a friend although your intuition kept telling you that you were going the wrong way. You were confused by this conflict but you stayed the course, trying to reach your destination.

There were signs along the way that told you that you were not in the right place. The streets were shabby and unwelcoming. The people you met were complete opposites from the people you find peace and comfort with. The air was dense and polluted yet, when you checked the directions on the paper in your hand, you were headed the right way.

Could your friend have steered you wrong?

Do you have the courage to turn back and find your own way?

You decide you would rather place your trust in your friend's instructions because she said it worked for her, so you continue on.

Soon, you come across a snarling dog. It's teeth are as yellow as the sun and its eyes are bulging from its head. You freeze. The dog is blocking your path. If you have to turn back you won't know which way to go next. Your friend's instructions didn't come with a detour.

The dog takes a few steps toward you and you take a few steps backward. Before you can blink twice the dog lunges at you, causing you to drop your instructions and run the other way blindly darting to the left and the right, looking for refuge.

You find refuge behind an old building. You wait and listen for the dog's growl. You hear none. You stand up and look around. This new place is quite unfamiliar to you. You have no instructions. You have nowhere to go.

Why did that dog deter you from your path?

It was a necessary SPIRITUAL CORRECTION.

You KNEW you were not supposed to be headed in that direction but you ignored your intuition and kept going anyway, trusting your friend over your own inner guidance. That dog's near fatal attack was the only sign that would wake you up and force you back onto the right path.

Now you are lost in wonderland with no instructions and you have no choice but to listen to your inner self as it faithfully leads the way.

In life there are no real losses because you can not lose anything that belongs to you by divine right. If something falls away, it is because it was not meant for you to hold on to any longer. If you are traumatically snatched away from something (or someone) it may be because it was not where you were supposed to be at that time.

From our limited perspective of life, we can not see how our story unfolds one chapter after another adding to our life's culmination. We will never know. All we can do is trust in the divine wisdom and stand firm, no matter where it may lead us.

A Woman's Intuition

My Savvy Sisters know how to use their intuition to make the best decisions for their lives. They understand that this inner guidance is vital to their survival and it will only take the action prompted by this guidance to help them realize their dreams.

How do you develop your intuition?

You don't have to. You already know what it is and what it says. You can feel it. It feels like a gentle nudge. It sounds like your voice, just more insistent. It repeats itself again and again. The problem becomes trusting your intuition versus listening to the advice and guidance from those around you.

Why don't you trust your intuition more than you trust the guidance of others?

You are afraid to. You don't believe in your ability to choose correctly. You want assurance and guidance from others because you do not believe in your power to navigate this life successfully.

I am here to tell you, you can.

You have everything you need to achieve inner peace and outer joy. The wisdom lives within. There is no one more capable of guiding you toward your dream. There is no one more qualified to help you than you are.

You know your desires and your capabilities better than anyone.

Your answers lie within you.

To better tap into the answers and the direction that you need all you have to do is...

TRUST YOURSELF

Believe in the God power within you. That God power, that faith, lives inside of you and whispers to you the way.

Despite what others think you should do, you already know the way.

Regardless of the plans your parents had for you, you already know the way.

In spite of where you thought you should be in life at this age and stage, your inner guidance knows the way.

Trust in that. Trust in this process of evolution. You are exactly who you need to be.

Trust yourself.

For My Savvy Sisters: Has your intuition ever spoken to you and you benefited from listening to it? Share your story.
