Government Shut Down
Democrats and Republicans have yet to come to an agreement about the US rising deficit-- stipulation providing no decision is met by the April 8th deadline, the government will be coerced to shut down. President Obama has requested leaders in congress to meet at the White House to discuss Friday’s Deficit Budget Deadline. President Obama has extended invitation to House Speaker John Boehner, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and Senator Dan Inouye and Representative Hal Rogers. President Obama has stated a government shutdown will have a negative impact on the economic recovery.

On Monday April 4th President Obama officially announced his bid for reelection for the upcoming presidential election in 2012. The president is expected to raise a billion dollars for his campaign which will be a crucial financial opportunity to reach citizens throughout the nation. The president is the only candidate that is permissible to make an early bid at this time. Democrats have affirmed President Obama will be the only democratic candidate to run for president in 2012. No republicans at this time have announced their interest to run against President Obama in 2012.

Republican Governor Rick Scott and Florida congress members have released plans for Florida’s budget cuts and education is in the forth front. These cut backs will seize nearly $1 billion from education resources. Educators and union workers are infuriated and have held rallies throughout the state. These budget cuts will also affect state and city employees and eventually families throughout the state will ultimately feel the impact.
