The Rebuild Your Life Project $4,000 Grant For Women

MySavvySisters.Com presents the 2012 Women's Empowerment outreach- The Rebuild Your Life Project- Los Angeles.

This project will teach you to overcome your fear of moving to a new city by allowing you to watch Te-Erika Patterson, the publisher of MySavvySisters.Com as she relocates to Los Angeles, California, a city she had never even visited before, with no money, no friends and no stable place to live. Follow her on her journey in videos posted almost daily on her youtube channel.

You will learn:

How to decide which city to move to
How to gain the confidence you need to make a big move
How to prepare to move
What you can do when people try to stop you
How to find a place to live
How to make friends
How to keep your cool when things don't go the way you planned
How to turn frustration into something beautiful
and so much more...

The Rebuild Your Life Project Grant For Women
The Rebuild Your Life Project- Los Angeles will also award one woman in Los Angeles with a $4,000 grant to help her to REBUILD HER LIFE.

Te-Erika has contributed $1,000 toward this grant from her tips and wages as a waitress at Denny's.



We are actively looking for the lucky woman who will receive a helping hand financially from MySavvySisters.Com.

Qualifications:

1)Must be a female.
2) 25 years of age or older.
3) Must live in Los Angeles county.
4) Must agree to participate in an interview that will be posted online sharing the story of your life and how this grant would help you to move forward in life.

We are looking for a woman who is working diligently to improve her situation and has already made significant strides. We want to hear from women who are going back to school, saving to buy a car, ready to move into a home of their own, have worked through school and have graduated, etc.

We are looking for women who are proud of their accomplishments and have already turned their lives around and would appreciate this assistance to help them reach new heights.

All women who apply will be personally interviewed on video and the winner will be chosen from those video submissions.

The winner will be chosen in October and announced on our youtube channel, Embrace Your Fantasy.

On December 21, 2011, more than 100 unemployed South Floridians were given on the spot interviews during The Rebuild Your Life Project's partnership with Denny's Restaurants.

More than 14 corporate owned restaurants in Miami-Dade and Broward counties participated in the hiring event that was held in two different locations, one in Hialeah-Miami Lakes and the other in Hollywood.

Denny's To Help South Florida Residents "Rebuild Their Lives"

America’s diner will hold open interviews for job seekers Dec. 20

MIAMI (Dec. 14, 2011) – At a time when many Americans are trimming the tree and filling their shopping bags, 10.6 percent of South Florida residents are out of work. To help connect these job seekers with the gift they really want this year, Denny’s is holding a hiring event on Dec. 20 to fill a large number of open positions at 14 of its South Florida diners. The hiring event is part of a partnership with the Rebuild Your Life Project, a program designed to empower women to achieve their personal and professional goals.

On Tuesday, Dec. 20 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at two locations in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area, Denny’s will hold open interviews for any job seeker looking for part-time, full-time or management positions. All that a candidate needs to bring with them to be considered are two forms of valid identification. Interviews will be held at:

In April 2011, Patterson gained exposure by intentionally becoming homeless as part of a living documentary to empower women and demonstrate strategies for rebuilding one’s life during times of extreme hardship. During her bout self-imposed homelessness, Denny’s gave Patterson a chance and hired her as a server in its Hollywood, Fla. diner. She has been a loyal employee ever since and uses her wages to fund philanthropic efforts through the Rebuild Your Life Project.

The Rebuild Your Life Rental Assistance Grant For Women

The Rebuild Your Life Project hosted by MySavvySisters.Com announces it's very first annual grant for rental assistance for women. The Rebuild Your Life Rental Assistant Grant For Women was established to aid women in financial distress to experience a brief relief. The grant was established through donations from the poetry community at Verbal Calligraphy's "Night of Insight" in Hollywood, Florida as well as the efforts of the publisher, Te-Erika Patterson.

The $650 grant will be awarded on or about July 13, 2011 to a woman who meets the following criteria:

Must be a woman aged 18 or older who is a Miami-Dade or Broward county resident. (Required document: copy of valid license or state issued identification showing date of birth)

Must be a single parent on public assistance. (Required document: copy of award letter from public assistance)

Must be employed. (Required document: Current pay stub.)

Must provide copy of your current lease with your name on it and the name and address of your landlord.

The drawing will be held on July 13th, 2011 and the video announcing the winner will be posted on www.youtube.com/embraceyourfantasy on July 14, 2011. The winner will be contacted by phone and/or email and the check will be mailed directly to the mailing address of the landlord of the winner on or about July 16, 2011.

The deadline is July 12, 2011 at 11:59 pm EASTERN.
