Earthquakes Hit Myanmar

Today two powerful 7.0 earthquakes struck Yangon, Myanmar in less than one minute apart. The tremors were felt as far as 140 miles from the quakes’ epicenter. One casualty was reported in Mae Sai, Thailand –a woman was killed when a brick struck her in the head during the quake. Two aftershocks have followed since the initial earthquakes and tonight all are in a panic and rightly terrified. The Pacific Tsunami center has ruled out a possible tsunami since the quakes occurred too far inland.
