Geraldine Anne Ferraro Dies At Age 75

After a long battle with cancer, Geraldine Anne Ferraro has died at the age of 75, on March 26 at Massachusetts General Hospital. Ferraro will be remembered as the first woman to run on a major ticket for Vice President of the United States for the Democratic Party. Ferraro has paved the way for many women in politics --she is survived by her children and grandchildren.
